December 12, 2007 - 1-Service enters into temporary Contract extension with the Houston Technology Center (www.houstontech.org) while terms of a long term outsource are evaluated. "1-Service LLC has been the provider of comprehensive IT support to HTC since 1999 and will continue to provide services as the details of the new contract services are ironed out" reported JL Trahan, President/CEO 1-Service LLC.
May 5, 2007 - 1-Service LLC announced today its contract with Remora Energy, an international exploration and production company with over a billion in funding from First Reserve. Under the contract, 1-Service is to provide its entire IT infrastructure management, 1-Service hosted subscription services for Email, desktop support, online backup services, network management and onsite support.
April 11, 2007 - JL Trahan, 1-Service LLC President/CEO was recognized with a group of 50 of Houston's Entrepreneurs at the Houston Technology Center Gala www.houstontech.org held at River Oaks Country Club. Each year, the Houston Technology Center hosts a fundraiser to benefit continued Houston based technology company acceleration and celebrates Houston's distinguished business leaders. Ernest H. Cockrell was the 2007 guest of honor. Other business leaders honored included Rod Canion (Compaq founder), Lloyd Bentson, Michael Holthouse (Paranet founder), Dr. Lucky Chopra (Advanced Diagnostics Clinics founder) and other successful business men and women.
March 2, 2007 - 1-Service LABS launches mass email distribution system delivering over 1 million emails per hour. This email marketing solution takes the burden off of a company's email server, preventing unwanted "Black Listing" and the time consuming and bothersome work of delisting an organizations email server from the spam watchdogs. February 6, 2007 - 1-Service LLC (www.1-Service.com) announced today it has become a Technical Solutions Partner for Houston based Filebanc LP, an automated secure, online, offsite backup service provider (www.filebanc.com). The agreement provides for 1-Service to integrate the FileBanc product into its subscriber customer solutions palette. Additionally, Filebanc customers will have access to 1-Service Consultants for database, server and network help. Sean Stoner, Filebanc’s CEO, states, "This is exactly what our customers need. We are ruthlessly focused on providing an elegant, reliable and cost effective solution for our customers and many times they have other needs we don’t provide that align with our offering. The partnership with 1-Service allows us to continue helping our customers beyond the scope of our backup solutions."
January 28, 2007 - 1-Service LLC (www.1-Service.com) announces that Ryan C. Flores has become a partner in the firm. Mr. Flores is a respected businessman and veteran of software and database development, having founded the Code Works Company (www.codeworkscompany.com), an energy company software development shop responsible for the drilling information systems development and support for Precision Drilling and Weatherford among other projects. Mr. Flores had been working for some time as a consultant to 1-Service on various projects. Prior, Mr. Flores worked with Shell Oil developing drilling support applications and is a Penn State graduate. JL Trahan, President/CEO 1-Service LLC comments: "It is a real honor when a long time friend becomes a business partner. January 11, 2007 - Extreme Networks (www.extremenetworks.com) partners with 1-Service.com. Extreme Networks, manufacturers of the worlds fastest networking switchgear announced its partnership with 1-Service.com of Houston, Texas. 1-Service (www.1-Service.com) is to provide network design, integration and support in the field to Extreme Networks customers in the Houston market. 1-Service and Extreme Networks have been working together for several years, establishing the gig "x" network for the Houston Technology Center (HTC). Since 2003, both organizations have donated consultants, money and equipment to the HTC to create Houston's 30,000 square foot high tech center, allowing the HTC to provide professional office space with high tech infrastructure and on site data center for start-ups and large company special projects. "This is a the perfect environment to develop software or Voice Over IP projects. Everything a software, database or communications platform company might need is in place and ready to be used", said JL Trahan, 1-Service LLC President/CEO.
January 4, 2007 - 1-Service LLC (www.1-Service.com) announces today its plan to develop a web based marketing automation system. 1-Service President/CEO, JL Trahan, reported that "the online marketing tools we are developing for our clients make them stand apart". He adds, "These systems provide services that every real estate project needs to market properly". The initial phase of the project will be released prior to March 1, 2007.
January 3, 2007 - 1-Service LLC (www.1-Service.com) announces that Charles Flournoy, III has become a partner in the firm. Mr. Flournoy, who has consulted with the organization for several months and was responsible for establishment of 1-Service LABS, the software and database development hosted services environment located at the Houston Technology Center (www.houstontech.org). Mr. Flournoy becomes Practice Director for Data Center Operations for the organization located in the Houston Technology Center complex.
